My family will be moving from Michigan to the Dallas area in June. My husband will be working at the Baylor Transplant Center in Dallas and All Saints in Fort Worth. We have no idea where to live. What is a good safe suburb to live in that is somewhere in between? He'll probably be in Dallas more than Fort Worth. We have 3 kids that will be in school. One in Junior High, and 2 in Elementary. We still live on a Resident Salary so we'd like to just rent a newer home for less $$. In other words more home for the $$. (We have 6 in our family) Some colleagues suggested Irving, but it looks like older homes and more pricey to me. We will only be there 2 yrs for his training unless we love it and he decides to practice there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm not sure what your budget would be but you should check out the Hurst/Euless/Bedford area AKA (HEB).

The Irving public schools aren't that great.

We'd probably only want to spend about 1200/month. Which school districts are good?
