I know an officer on the Plano PD. He does ride alongs with a mutual friend in an East Texas PD for fun. One Sat night in Greenville is more exciting that a year in Plano. About the most exciting thing they get to do in Plano is pull over drag racers on US 75.

Plano has about the lowest violent crime rate in the whole country.

Even the worst parts of TX are relatively as safe as NYC, BTW.

I enjoyed living in Frisco, it had everything I needed within walking distance. The only hassle was driving through the mall traffic on Saturdays (a minor inconvenience).
