The Galleria has Tiffany's and Juicy C, Neimans as well as other High end shops as well which is closer to downtown.

West Plano is a great place, but there are many other neighborhoods like might fit as well.

Nothing will ever compare to Bev Hill or Bel Air. The riches here are totally different from the Riches there.

Living in West Plano, shooting down the NT Toll for downtown nightlife might be about 20-30 mins since the NT Toll is more heavily travel toll road.

It does.

If the OP is wanting an upscale suburban atmosphere, not too far from Dallas, then West Plano would be a good fit. Southlake is probably going to be a bit too far out.

Sorry, but you can't compare West Plano to Highland Park. A dirt lot in Highland Park proper will cost $1 Million. And most houses cost $3-4 Million plus and there are many houses over $10 Million. No comparison.

Sorry, I meant no Neiman Marcus at Galleria.

Is W Plano similar?
Absolutely. W. Hollywood would actually be a bit farther, but not by much compared to W. Plano to downtown Dallas. But there would be more than enough "nightlife" & entertainment closer than that for you to chose from.

Hope this helps.

As long as the OP isn't seeking sprawling, divey, college bar nightlife, Plano does have its own offerings at The Shops at Legacy. Plus it's only 10 minutes to Addison. And once in a while, a 25 minute drive to downtown Dallas isn't bad at all.

I'd rather go to The Galleria or Willow Bend for shopping anyday over Northpark, Northpark is always crazy crowded!

So what are we talking in terms of miles/distance/time from W Plano to the nightlife?

If I"m not mistaken, the nightlife in Dallas isn't necessarily Downtown correct?
