We live in The Colony and just had one of the worse storms we've had in a while.....lights were out for about 45 minutes..but just came back on. Wind blew HUGE limbs out of our trees....lots of trash, limbs, ponding in front and back yard. Pool a mess.
How are the rest of the parts of DFW?

West Plano: I was walking around outside, then the sky became rather ominous looking, so I scadaddled back inside, then all the sudden the sky broke open and the rain started coming down. The wind was blowing so hard that I could feel the cool air coming threw the bedroom window. At this point it has quieted down, and off in the distance I hear either a train or a tornado siren blowing.....wait, huge lightning - lit up the outside in a big way. Power has remained on....so the network is up...so I can keep working.

Here in Frisco, we had CRAZY rains and wind. Lost power for a bit.

Of course as soon as we changed our daughter as she felt kind of hot with no AC, the Power comes back on! (not that I'm complaining)

Saginaw had some good lightning, thunder, wind and rain here. Honestly, for us, last week's storm (last Tuesday) was more severe for us.

Hope everyone is doing well!

I was at the Rangers/Yankees game and they evacuated us to the tunnels under the field about 10 minutes prior to gametime. We were all huddled down there for about 40 minutes.

Here in Sachse along 78 there are some limbs down on trees. The wind managed to rotate my very large grill on the patio, but luckilly it didn't flip it over or send it into the house. It could have been much worse here.

Allen/Fairview- Lots of limbs down. Power was out from 7:30- 11?
We have been waiting for a roofing company to replace our roof for 3 weeks now. After this storm half of our shingles are spread from here to Plano.
The winds here were very strong. Of course we were not prepared. I was home alone and realized our oversized pool umbrella was still open. I went outside to put the umbrella down (usually takes two people) and a lounge chair beside me blew into the pool. I think that was the fastest that umbrella has ever been moved. At that point I decided all the chairs could end up in the pool I was heading for the house.

Looks like winds got up to 85mph in some places out west:

I'm in an apartment, everything looks ok outside.
