Hi, I an graduating college in about a month. I took a job with Dal-tile. It is located southeast of downtown. My girlfriend took a job at the fort worth zoo. I would like to find a place inbetween these two areas. I was looking at someplace near the arlington or bedford area. We are looking to rent an apartment for now. Does anybody have any suggestions for what area would be the best to look in? We don't have any special needs or wants just need a general feel for the area. Thanks in advance
Chris

Irving is halfway between both, and a little North. The good thing about Irving is that there is a train stop that can take you to both downtown Dallas and Downtown Ft. Worth. Bedford would be a little more to your girlfriend's liking, because it is closer to FW; only about a fifteen minute commute. To Dallas from Bedford would be about a 40 minute commute. Irving or Las Colinas would be a good bet for a split between the two.

Try North Oak Cliff - Bishop Arts, Winnetka, Stevens and Kessler Park, Lake Cliff and the emerging and redeveloping Fort Worth Ave. (google belmont hotel). You will be bored as hell in Worst-Useless-Bedroom (Hurst-Euless- Bedford).
