Earlier today, we had a storm but it cleared out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, the follow-up traffic-jam is taking way too long to clear up.

Down into the 40s tomorrow night. So much for Dallas being hot as hell year-round.

That storm was intense! The traffic was diverted through our neighbor hood and was crazy! Half our street is still without power.

Just got power again about an hour ago. Lost lots of huge tree limbs. Crazy storm. Normally we only hit the center hall in our home during a tornado warning, but we went there this afternoon.

Still no power, and we lost a tree.

Man, sorry to see that beautiful tree destroyed. Was that a magnolia?

We just got high winds, and brief rain.
I was in traffic at the time near central market Plano, it was intense.

WCS a is a tree service we have used in the past...His prices can't be beat.
The owner is a wonderful, honest up front kinda guy too.

Yup it was a Magnolia. Thankfully it was already on deaths door step as the previous tenants didn't care for any of the landscaping at all. The yard was basically just all dirt and dust before we moved in.

Oh and we still have no power.

20 hours and finally the lights are back on. Longest outage since the April 2012 tornado, which lasted 12 hours. Homes behind ours and one street over never lost power in this storm. We had vèry high winds and heavy rain but no damage.

I didn't notice it was that intense. All I saw was some heavy rain and wind and it cleared out quickly too. I guess some parts got hit worse than other parts did.
