We needed the rain, that's for sure...but I'm looking for sun and blue skies again.

I hope it rains and rains and rains and Alex brings even more rain. I love cloudy skies in the summer time.

It doesn't bother me...I don't get why people whine about the heat all the time. Now, I do understand whining about the bitter cold on the other hand!

I played golf this morning and hardly broke a sweat - even though it was muggy the temperature was no higher than 90. The fairways and bunkers had received a lot of rain over the past few days.

Let's only wish for rain, lightning and thunder at night...or on days I'm not playing golf.

I don't know that I'd call either "whining." It's all a matter of preference. Do you spend a lot of time doing physical work outside? I do, and that's when the heat gets to me. On the other hand, I can work like the energizer bunny when it's cold.
