The laundromats I normally use (Abrams Wash & Dry on Forest Ln. and Coin Laundry on Skillman--northeast Dallas) weren't that great to begin with and have recently taken a turn for the worse. Whenever I use either place my clothes smell funny (detergent+strange sour smell) when I bring them home, which is gross and super annoying. I'd be willing to travel reasonably far distances and pay more to do my laundry at a place that takes care of their machines and is hygenic. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't take this crap anymore!!that dirty, so I know it's the machine's fault.

I have never seen a laundromat that was nice. I would suggest you find a very nice apartment complex and use there washer/dryers. Is getting a personal unit out of the question.

At the Coit and Spring Valley intersection next to El Rancho Supermercado is a newer laundrymat that I heard it is nice from a neighbor whose washing machine suddenly broke. There are actually 5 or so laundrymats at that interestion, but the one by Supermercado is the newest. It's like 2 doors down to the right if you are looking at the front door of Supermercado.
