My wife and I are considering moving to the Piney Woods of Texas. We are now living down by San Antonio. We would love to hear some options of the area, where is the best area to settle. We are near retirement age, travel to work is not an issue. We are looking for a small place of 3 - 10 acres. A place with an existing structure is fine. Or a place we could put a Mobile would work. My wife would love a lake view. What are your opinions??
Thanks!

Smile Ask in the Houston forum

This would be a better question for the Houston forum becasue the Piney Woods are around Houston not Dallas. It sounds like Lake Livingston would work for you or lake Conroe. Well, there are many lakes in the Piney Woods near Houston that would work.
