The Texas Alps indoor ski resort was announced today by Grapevine officials as part of the new World Villages of Grapevine project near Grapevine Mills mall. What do you guys think about this project? You could say this about any large themed resort or amusement park. Disneyland/World and Six Flags I'm sure use tremendous amounts of power. Most themed resorts are supposed to be out of synch with reality. That's the attraction.

no--that was further west I think--in north part of FTW around Motor Speedway/Alliance--and it melted like a snowflake in July

I think this is the first announcement of an indoor ski area. The last two announcements were for an outdoor ski park - some sort of rubbery material that got slick when wet down. As with the last announcements, I'll believe it when I see it.
