Sometimes it's called "Prestonworld" because the church is so large. I can certainly see how some of the members might be drawn to live in that area in order to be closer to their church but I doubt it's pervasive in the area. Prestonwood Baptist Church is certainly a "presence", I'm sure in that area because of its size and consequently, its influence. I think of it as a very positive influence though. It has a very good reputation as a church with many programs and so forth. At Christmastime, it is very well known for producing an almost "Broadway quality" musical. We saw it once and it was great.

LOL!!! And I was a member of Prestonwood when they still met at the rec center and moved into their first building.

I had a relative that lived in The Hills of Prestonwood. Nice house, small yard w/ a pool on the golf course. They gutted the house when they bought it as it needed updating. When they sold the house about 2-3 years later they made a fortune (this was about 3 years ago they sold). I do know they did not know many of their neighbors at all. Oh, and they never went to Prestonwood Baptist. The place is HUGE. They have their own sports organizations, cafeteria, school, etc. Yes, they have a cafeteria that is open 7 days a week that is not part of the school. And some make fun of churches for having a small coffee table/stand.

The Hills of Prestonwood, what intersection is that at? I want to look on my ebby map. Our house is officially on the market. I am hoping it sells soon.
