Dang. Try this - see below (blue would be Lakewood proper, although Lakewood Elementary boundaries go a bit to the north and to the south -- also Greenland Hills area in yellow - is known as MStreets, too):

ah HA !! Now I see where you mean. Can you tell me the zip codes? I'd like to do a quick search & browse some houses. The website I'm using doesn't have areas, just zip codes in Dallas. Many Thanks, Lakewooder

Generally, 75214 is Lakewood (Lakewood Elementary) and 75206 is MStreets (Stonewall Jackson Elementary), Lower Greenville (Robert E. Lee Elementary) etc.

Hollywood Heights/Santa Monica is in Lakewood Elementary but is 75223.

You are determined to keep this thread high up on the list aren't you :-)

You should just tell the moderator to make it a 'stickie'

Gotta run, make sure I bump it back down.

I don't see a need to sticky it. Lakewooder does a good job of keeping it on the first page. As long as it stays on topic, I don't necessarily have a problem with the thread. Although I'm guessing that gulf5diver has the answers, she was looking for.

He likes he part of town, we like ours. I think our forum is much better than many of the others on City-Data because we have alot of solid regulars from a broad range of areas. It doesn't seem like Forth Worth/Arlington are talked about much here though...or any of the lower southern burbs below Dallas. Other than that, we comb through all the other areas well.
