There is crime at every mall in the DFW area. The vast majority of it is theft. I don't think anyone feels like Northpark is unsafe.

Thanks to everyone for their contributions. I have definitely learned a lot. I have narrowed the search to two apartments and i must make a decision by Monday so all opinions are welcome. The bend in the village or Delante in Las colinas. Please post your opinion with reference to proximity to medical district and closeness to the singles nightlife. Thanks again.

First off, Delante and The Bend in the Village are very different apartment communities. Delante is a newly built apartment community and the building has a urban style architecture (but not located in a urban area). I would guess rents start at least $1,000 or more. The Bend was built in the 1970's and has garden style buildings. The interiors are older and meets one's basic needs. Rents probably start at around $600.00.

Again i definitely want to thank everyone one who contributes to this forum. They are an invaluable insight for anyone who is thinking of moving to Dallas. Well, all my things are packed and i arrive Dallas on Wednesday. I can only hope the people of Dallas will be as kind to me as the people on this forum have been.
