I was out in Uptown and the girls are pretty hot there. I heard downtown is ghetto and dangerous. What are some of the hottest bars to go to? (Not really country focused)

Downtown is not ghetto and dangerous. Alot of the same people that go out in Uptown also go out in downtown.

What bars do you go to in Boston?

Here are some fun bars that my friends from the NE (Boston & NYC mostly) really liked, in some kind of bar-hopping order:

McKinney Ave:
Uptown Pub
Black Friar* (T-Sat, or any happy hour)
Idle Rich
Ginger Man
TABC*
Londoner
Christie's
The MAT
Frankie's*
Quarter* (late)
Primo's* (sit on the patio, see and be seen)
Loon
Uptown Pub (different one that above)

Knox-Henderson:
Corner Bar* (after midnight)
Cretia's*
The Porch*
Cuba Libre*
Old Monk
Capital Pub
Park*
Barcadia*

Deep Ellum area (not really down in Deep Ellum, but these are close to it):
Bryan Street Pub* (only on shift change - the hospital is right by here so you get nurses in here at like 4p.m. and midnight.. awesome)
Elbow Room

The ones with asteriks are good places to meet women. None of the places above are "lounges" but there are a few of those, also. If you go clubbing, you're in for a wake up call - Dallas clubs are amateur.

The Village is a massive series of apartment complexes, east of Central (US75) and west of Skillman, around Northwest Highway/Southwestern/Caruth Haven streets, that's packed tight like a Mississippi prison with 20somethings and those who love them. One drawback: It's like the old movie "Logan's Run," once you hit 30, they put on an ice floe in the middle of Central Expressway and you're never heard from again.

Cretia's is certainly the scene for 20-somethings exempt from the "Sandman" in "Logan's Run" (which incidentally was filmed in Dallas).

I know Cat the bartender there and that place gets soo packed.

"Meet/Meat Market" is what we used to call that in the old days.

Yeah you shoulda been at the STARCK:

The 25th Reunion Party, STARCK RED, was great - you can also find that on youtube.

Dont forget Glo in Knox Henderson! The girls there are smoking hot!

Another thing Ill mention is that while Uptown is mostly white, Knox Henderson is extremely diverse! Not just diverse racially, but lots of different kinds of people (artsy, preppy, ghetto, trendy, etc.).

Knox Henderson is one of the best places to go out in the US!

NO WAY! There is a LOT of action going on at the game. You gotta go to your seats as well to see the game and as my husband does, watch the chicks that want to be seen going up and down the aisles. I swear, he must be blind as he misses half of them I guess he is too busy looking at me then
