I like the Village Apartment lifestyle with the jogging trails and other amenities and wondering if there are similar apartment communities in the Dallas area where 50-60 year olds live?

There are actually more 50-60 year olds that live in the Village than what people think. There are several in my complex, 3 in my building alone, and I see people in that age range out walking on the trails all of the time. True, it is mainly 20-40 year olds that live in that area, but I don't think you would be out of place living there either.

I really would not doubt that many people have lived in the older complexes for 20 years or more. I don't personally know anybody who has but I know several just south of Lover's who have lived in those complexes - some for 30 years or more. If you walk by some of the apartments in the older areas of The Village you can just tell by the balcony and the plants in the windows that some folks have been there a very long time.
