The best your going to get in Plano is a sports bar. Addison would be the closest spot for entertainment your seeking.

If you are going w/ a friend or two and just want a chill with some drinks and live music then Obzeet's is fun and everyone is friendly. It is over on Preston Rd just south of 190 on the east side of the road. Not a nightclub or anything but a fun place to hang out, have a few drinks and enjoy the music. Very casual and fun.

IN Plano...... not much. It's more "family friendly" (I just had to use that term after the discussion of it on another thread ). Not exactly the hoping single scene. In Downtown Plano there is Kelly's Eastside for some great food and a nice bar and then there are a few more right in that same area. The Filmore is one. None of these are "nightclubs" or anything.

Your going to have to head to Dallas for the "nightclub" action. You can always head over to Grapevine for Grapefest.

32 degree is the bar above Urban Crust. Not huge but perfect if hanging with friends.

Haven't been to Sambuca 360, but it's in the old Martini Park spot that I LOVED.

And if you are an Oompa Loompa cougar hunter I totally recommend Loft 610. The Real Housewives of Collin County » Blog Archive » The Land of Oompa Loompa’s Heehee! I'm 5'1" and I was TALL!

OMG! I need someone to come clean my screen and a refill of tea. ROTFL!!!

I'm 5'3" so I'd be a giant there. ALRIGHT! Don't know if I can be classified as a "cougar" since I am married. LOL!!!! And I am NOT training another TOO FUNNY!!!

We went for a birthday outing, with hubbies. It was hysterical. The shortest guy with us was 5'8" and he towered over them. And DH (51) was totally getting eyeballed by some cougars. he's been out of the nightclub scene for awhile and was completely puzzled by the whole concept.

They actually had a decent DJ that night. I prefer Ringside for GNO, but it was a totally funny outing.
