My friends and I will be arriving in Dallas Friday the a8th at about 3pm. We are looking to get settled into our hotel and go to a great Friday Happy Hour. We are staying at the Double Tree in Market Square. Can some of you suggest some great places to have a few cold beers with a great crowd? I would also appreciate any other info on some great nightlife locations nearby.

We will be in town for the Giants/Boys game and are looking to go out Friday and Saturday night...4 males all in oue mid to late 30's. Thanks!

not sure where that hotel is but if its near downtown Dallas go to the Loon. Its a great bar with super strong drinks. It isnt a fancy place but lots of famous people go there. I have seen Dirk Niwitzki, one of hugh heffners girl friends, and a few other well know celebrities in there. It isnt expensive either.

i agree with the loon. frankies is another fun place to watch games. as far as just general happy hour, idle rich pub, blackfriar, TABC, state and allen are all good choices as well. they're all in the same general area (walkable) so y'all can just drive to uptown and feel it out. just ask around and you'll be fine.
