Has any one been to the pocket sandwhich theatre? I"m interested in going to the 8:00PM showing of "deathtrap."

couple of questions:
-Is this place fun for a date night type of thing?
-how is the show in itsef? Is it a musical? Is it boring? Is it scary?

It's a great little theater... perfect for a casual, fun date. I haven't seen the current show but have been there several times for other performances. Mockingbird Station is right across the street... a great place for before-show dinner or after-show drinks.

Haven't been in probably 3 or 4 years, but we used go to once or twice a year. The last time we went, a bunch of pre-teens pretty much ruined it with the popcorn throwing that got out of hand. But most of the time it was enjoyable.

I've been to see Matt Tolentino and the Singapore Slingers on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads and I think it's a good venue. As in a regular theater it would be a little awkward to get up to go the the restroom - only here more so if you are in the front...

Don't think it is a good date place. My experience was the same as that of ETex2...and the shows I have seen there weren't very good. Also, Deathtrap is a pretty crummy play, IMHO.
