This handsome little fellow came in and said hello to me today. I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of critter he is?

Close. It's a katydid. Turn it over and check out the nice, large orange mandibles.

A katydid, huh? Cool, thanks for the info. Yup, he does have a handsome orange mouth too. Yup, he's cleverly camouflaged to look just like a leaf. Don't worry Cris, Little Katy will be freed shortly, right after he visits with the family.
