West Plano would be the closest, then Frisco and Allen would be furthest, mostly because it woudln't be practical to take the tollway, you would have to deal w/commuter traffic on 635 and 75. You should be able to find something in your price range.

You can double the time that Mapquest gives you for rush hour commutes. If there is a wreck or weather situation, you can triple the time. For what you are looking for I would look at Frisco first, then West Plano (might be too expensive for a newer house) and then Allen. There is not a straight shot from Allen to the Galleria.
