Wildlife exemption is only if you are actively raising game animals, such as trophy whitetail or exotic deer. That will be pretty hard to do in Lucas...

You'll need to ask the county appraisal district for the specific rules on ag exemption as to how many cattle you need. Some counties specify you must have both a cow and a bull. Honestly, it is very difficult to get ag exemption on a small piece of property. Lucas also used to have a really stupid rule that your animal barns and any other outbuildings had to be made of the same materials as your house, which would make building any kind of structure extremely expensive...

We have had our ag excempt almost 4 yrs. We now have to reapply. All we have our 2 goats on 2 acres. We bred the goats last year and sold 3. Is that enough to keep our Ag. I hate to let it go and pay back taxes

Breeding animals for sale usually works. But I’d talk to your County to be sure!

I would go into the CAD office and ask and also get their form and instructions. You'll probably be more successful understanding the rules and who approves the applications if you are there in person and talking to them...vs looking at any website.
