Also, does anyone have any advice for the fastest and best high speed internet providers and digital cable companies in Plano?

seems like you are looking at 75093. when we lived there, verizon was putting in fios and they were our only choice for phone/dsl/fios. so, know that when you buy a home, you may not have an option on providers.

I have a cable provider-Time Warner. I've heard lots of complaints, but I haven't had any issues at all so far (fingers crossed) I got a bundle (phone, cable and internet) for $99 a month so I'm not complaining. The speed is very fast, but I don't do alot of downloading, just email and browsing

I have had Verizon for Internet Service for over 2 years and always had good speeds and never any down time. The only downside is that my bill comes out to $65 a month. If there was a less expensive service, I would consider switching if the speed and reliability was comparable.

Verizon FIOS without a doubt. And stay away from Time Warner.

If you can get FIOS, it's a no-brainer. I have FIOS and I have 50/20 service, it's awesome. Costs an arm and a leg ($139.95/mo if you get FIOS TV service, $144.95 without, and 50/20 is not included in any TV bundle), but it's great. I just wish they would up to 50/50 or finally give us 100/100.

Time Warner is all about that greenback and frugality. Even in the music business, they sign people and they would half-arsely promote their album.

There are a lot of talented people whom had signed with Time Warner only to get duked on by them.

So basically, I co-sign too: stay away from Time Warner.
