My husband and I want to relocate to either Texas or Georgia. I am a nursing student and want to be an ER nurse and work at a level 1 trauma hospital. I was looking at Memorial Hermann or Parkland Memorial Hospital in Texas. I want to get some feedback on what are some good areas to live in and if anyone works at either of these hospitals to give me your feedback. I was looking at Arlington or Houston to live in.

My husband is a mechanic but will look to do something as he is really burned out from this line of work has been doing this for 20 + years.

As for Georgia the same thing applies as I was looking at Memorial University Medical Center and Grady Memorial Hospital. I want to know good areas to live in and work for my husband. I have heard that Savannah and Marietta are good.

I really appreciate any feedback that anyone can give me as I want to have all the information I need to make an informed decision on where we relocate to.

I am from Chicago.

Thanks

Just be aware that Dallas has something called Group One, which I learned about from reading this forum. They track nursing personnel's employee records and can hold damaging info forever.
