So how would you all rate this winter season in the Dallas area in comparison to the average Dallas winter? Seems that the overall high temp averages have been on the cool side based on my observation of weather reports. Temps, rainfall, cloudy days, sunny days? I think I know what you might all have to say about snow! What say you all.

You guys down there in N.Texas are giving your whole state a bad name on the subject of winter-weather. You're hot muggy summers are infamous, but now you're competing with the Snow-Belt in winter weather: in my midwestern Missouri we're not seeing these foot-plus snows that you guys are having.
And I had a nephew just move from the west coast to Austin and he was bracing himself for the summer, but now says he never expected this kind of winter. He freezing his you-know-what off. Well atleast he can't afford to buy a house in Texas.

All across the south central - southeast states its been a much colder winter than normal. In Dallas there really havent been many big warm ups this season. It will warm up a little bit then cool back off quickly. Perhaps the trend will continue and the summer will be more tolerable?

Channel 11 last night did a comparison of previous winters to this one. Most averaged like 20 days in the 70s and maybe 5 days in the 80s.

This winte we had like 5 days in the 70s and 0 in the 80s. Said it has been the 7th coldest winter in history.

If I had moved to Dallas any other year during the winter I would probably be enjoying the ocassional mild temperatures which this year have been few and far between.

At least there is hope with the buds comming out on the trees!
