Are you referring to CNA? LVN? RN?

If you are wanting to do LVN or RN, you must first take some regular academic classes (English, Psychologist, Math, etc) so most of the online college classes would work well for that. However, the actual nursing classes are hands-on.....you can't learn to give shots or CPR or assist in surgery at home in front of your computer.

You need to decide where you want to do your actual nursing classes, see the nursing director or admissions counselors there and get their guidance on taking on-line classes that they will accept as pre-admission classes for their program.

you certainly can not do that on line. Most of the schools will offer some on line classes, but there is no way you can become an RN simply via online training.

Nita is very correct. You can do a RN to BSN program online, but the initial ADN program is very hands-on and MUST be taught in a traditional classroom setting.

Here in the DFW area, one of the best nursing programs is at El Centro College in downtown Dallas. Tarrant County College also has a very good program.

Several Community Colleges are also offering Online CNA Classes, but it may entail memorizing all stuff that you must have learnt through taking up some kind of final assessment.Guidelines and rules for taking Online CNA Classes may vary from state to state.
