No! We definitely do not claim that area in LH!

What's really shocking is, before we were married, my husband and I lived over there! In the newer apartments - St. Andrews. The apartments where the murder occurred are right across the street. St. Andrews was nice, but we could tell the others were going way down hill. I see that we were right. Ugh - that poor family.

Dallas Police Launch 'Operation Kitchen Sink' - Community Events News Story - KXAS | Dallas

I believe they still do this at some of the apartments in LH.

No, that area is not Lake Highlands. We live at the most northwestern point of LH, and the apartments are further north and west than our street. I believe anything north of Forest is not Lake Highlands.

This story is so sad. It's so hard to wrap my brain around how someone can just kill another human.

This is very sad news. But this all sounds like a setup to me the way they were reporting it.

Is that where they throw everything, including the kitchen sink at the "bad guys"?

definitely think there is more to why this happened than a random type of shooting--not that that makes it any more palatible...

I don't know what you're talking about.

Back on topic, Khfar, thanks for the link. Unfortunately I found the article to be fairly low on details. (Not that I obsess on details.)
