Hi everyone,

I will be in Dallas from Sept 2010 to June 2011. I will be living off my savings. I obviously prefer to be with a roommate or two. What's a realistic budget?

Where in Dallas do you plan to live? Do you like to spend a lot of $ eating out, clubbing and drinking? There is going to be a big difference in your budget if you plan to live in uptown and party like a college student than if you plan to live in there bubs and you find riding your bike around the park they highlight of your week.

The people reading your post need more info to help you.

Since you really didn't offer much as to what this budget should cover, I'll just through out $5,000 -$45,000. How's that work for you?

- I would like to stay in or around Irving.
- Budget should basically cover living expenses: Rent, utilities, and food.
- I will be working 6 days a week, full days for those 10 months.
