I went today at 12noon with my sister/brother in law and two nephews. This was my sixth visit since they opened. The line was down the side and past the front of the building. It was only 14 minutes from the time we got in line until we paid.

Its now approaching four weeks since they opened and they are still very busy.

I guess the 'fad' and 'hype' have not yet worn off.

I think part of the reason the line seems so long is due to the size of the restaurant. It is a lot smaller than most in n outs and also almost laid out backwards.
I'm used to the front door being on the right side of the counters with the restrooms also along that wall and just before you reach the counter and the dining room to the left. It creates a way for the line to flow naturally from the door, in a straight line to the counter while not being in the way of the dining room. Your really only need to move out of the way if someone needed to break through the line and access the restroom.

It was less than 20 minutes total for me to get my order in and get my food. Only downside was that there were no tables and I had to eat outside. So worth it though, just like it tastes in California. WE SO EXCITED

Framing now up at the Arlington location. Moving right along. It's positioned east-west, with the drive-thru line on the other side of the building and the dining side facing the feeder.

Took my dog to Katy Trail for our Sunday run and drove by 75/Caruth as well as 635/Coit on the way home. At 75/Caruth, the building exterior is complete but no signage yet, except for the red window canopies trimmed with the signature palm tree design. A crew was working on the landscaping.

635/Coit is all plywood.

Im glad to see that both those locations have the traditional floorplan rather than the messy, congested, modified layout used in Frisco.

Went today, and I have no idea what all the fuss is about, tasted like any other fast food burger, true, better than McDonald's, but Wendy's for instance has a more unique taste, imo.

Ya know, the double-double actually reminded me of a Big Mac made with better ingredients. As far as fast food burgers go, Im still rating Sonic as #1 in my book (for burgers) and for shakes the winner is Braums, and fries is McDonalds or Wendys.

You should probably give them a call and let them know.
