it's been years since i've seen a DQ. You really have to do some searching to find one in DFW.

Try their store locator instead of google maps. There are actualy a lot more DQ's around the Dallas area than that.

It wont work on my internet browser at work. I'm not denying that they don't exist; however, you have to search to find one, and I do not know of any in Dallas' core and central area.

Need not search far. There is one off of Fort Worth Avenue in Central Dallas.

A quick search on their website lists over 50 locations in North Texas.

That's a little further south than the main area I stay in but thanks!

I'm not feeling it, sorry.

Even Taco Bell has moved away from that design trend on their newer restaurants & remodels.

I'd also be willing to bet you 100 bucks they're going to plant palm trees all around there...something about Dallas/North Texas & palm trees combined just doesn't look quite right to me.
Honestly, I was expecting a design with brick because its so prevalent here so Im surprised they have kept their standard design. It give them a consistent identity.

Just a theory. I'd be entertained.
Ok I have to back up. The location near LAX has a patio but its not covered like the newer locations. If you ever have some extra time at LAX you can take the Parking Spot van to get there and back. The Parking Spot is right next door and has a sign pointing the way to In-n-Out. Apparently its a well-known means of getting an In-n-Out Burger.

Remember the older buildings with the double drive thru? I remember them near Ontario airport, Garden Grove and also along I-5 in south Orange County. The one in Garden Grove had really cool outdoor seating. It was sort of dug out and embedded within the landscaping. I know many of those older ones have been closed and re-built.

Fast forward 25 years and now we have this big, modern building still serving the same great burgers and fries...and expanding outside their core market.
