Attention!!!! My friend's dog LUV has gone missing. If you see a chocolate lab/pitbull mix in the lower Lakewood area please call him at 469-386-1452. She will come to you if you call her name LUV. He fears that she was stolen because his back gate was wide open.

If you have seen her or know any information please call him or send me a direct message here.

Try and get this cross posted as much as possible. I hope your friend finds their dog. There are cruel people out there that will steal dogs and cats to use them as bait to train fighting dogs.

Yea...exactly why I posted it here. A lot of people have it posted on Facebook, but since mine is private I thought posting it here might do some good. I really hope he finds her. She is such a sweet soul.

You might also try rwamre@advocatemag.com and bfelps@eastdallastimes.com - Felps usually works with the pet watch. Also try Lakewood Neighborhood Association - Dallas - Texas ask Alex Winslow to put on Facebook.

Also paper the area where she lives with posters using those photos you showed. Use plastic page protectors. Post them as far and wide as you can. As they are taken down, repost them. If someone official objects, apologize profusely. Sometimes it's easier to apologize then to ask permission.

Put the posters up at the veterinarian offices and animal hospitals in the area, as far and wide as you can. Follow up with phone calls frequently.

Stop by the SPCA daily if you can. I know of several instances where people called to see if their dog was there, and it was, once right in front of the person covering the phone, and they said no dog there matched the description. They are very busy and have seen the worst side of human nature, so stop by often, always with new posters, and see for yourself.

Ah, I just thought, try to contact and meet the local animal warden/s. I've heard of an animal warden actually finding the lost dog and personally calling the distraught owner.

Sending prayers and good thoughts you friend's way.
