Dallas has the recognition, business capital, worldwide recognition and much more stuff than Fort Worth does. Yet Fort Worth is working hard to get bigger than Dallas. This all started with Amon Carter and is still happening today. Ask a person in England where Fort Worth is and most will not know. They will know about Dallas though. What are some suggestions on how we can defeat Fort Worth and keep it the second banana it has allways and should always be??

This question is so stupid I can't even believe you took the time to write it.

We are stronger together- Dallas is more cosmopolitan and is the business heart of the metroplex. Ft Worth retains our shared cowboy/western history (which is obsolete in Dallas), while offering a treasure of parks (imagine if Dallas had a Van Zandt, who donated hundreds if not thousands of acres of prime land adjacent to Downtown for public use & enjoyment vs commercial development) and world-class museums (Kimbell, Carter, Modern). The city & it's treasures (musuems, stockyards, etc) do an excellent PR job- one the city of Dallas should (and finally may be) taking lessons from.

we can build the great wall of Dallas! 20 feet high and 6 feet thick. Put it running north and south just on the other side of cowboy stadium.

Who cares?
Not everything has to be a competition.
Again, who cares?

More parks with fountains, hiking trails and water sports that are well maintained, safe and close to downtown. Create more parks with fountains for kids in downtown for example (like chicago). A cleaner downtown and less billboards and sleazy businesses on I-35. Make it classy, more family friendly with activities and downtown will be revived.

+1. A fun rivalry is one thing, but there is no reason at all for either city to "defeat" the other.

TXNGL: TurtleCreek wants to take over Fort Worth and fly the Dallas flag over it. Why is it necessary to have two cities when you can have one big Dallas umbrella?

That's not what I said at all. We ARE two cities that make up the "seats" of the DFW Metroplex.

Why the desire to "crush" Fort Worth??? Bizarre.
