Glad to hear you found a place you love. As CC pointed out, there are some nice areas of Kettering, but the schools alone would be the selling point for Oakwood over Kettering. Not that Kettering doesn't offer a good education, Oakwood is just that good.

No luck in Oakwood this weekend
We viewed 12 houses, but didn't find anything we we're excited about. Some needed too much work or we're too close to a busy street or a tad too small for our growing family.
We ventured over to Bellbrook and did find one place that was really neat. So we'll see what happens there...
If nothing else, we'll be back in a couple of weeks and continue the search.

Try Springboro. A lot of complaints on building issues on the newer housing developments but the best schools, neighborhoods and location. The highest rating in this area by mutual consensus. I live in Dayton but Springboro is the place to be.
