I will be moving to Troy, OH to attend Hobart Institute of Welding Technology starting October 22, 2012. I am moving to Troy from out of state and am having a hard time finding apartments online. I am looking for a studio or one bedroom with a reasonable rent (less than $600 per month). I don't need anything fancy, just the basics. I have little knowledge of Troy so any help with decent areas to live or good places to rent apartment would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.

In the times I've been in Troy, the only apartment complex I've seen was on Market St. across the street from a strip mall that's named after something from Robin Hood (I think it's something like the Sherwood Center, but I'm not totally sure of that). There are quite a few apartment buildings in Tipp City, which is just a few miles south of Troy, near the Precision Strip Metal plant.
