This would give a really cool place for people to visit when they are visiting Dayton. They could stay downtown (or close) and go to this. Take a trip to the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Plus, all of the other places around the area. I just think they are missing an opportunity.

When I first heard about this project, I thought Deeds Point would be a cool location.
I'd have to agree, to an extent.

The visibility this site has would be excellent, but if it's going to be like the St. Louis arch or something then this site is poor. It's in the middle of a housing development! (which, btw, is a horribly poorly planned residential location on Butler Twp's part.... should have been zoned industrial/office park off the bat).

Agreed that Carillon Park would be a excellent spot for it.

Yeah, that is a location that probably could have gotten a business easily.

That is a good question. Not sure. The good thing is there is room for more development.

Yes, and remember that P&G has over a thousand workers at it's new distribution center right next to the airport, and Payless (500+ workers) and Caterpillar (600+) have several hundred workers each at their new facilities in that same general area of the Miami Valley. White Castle, Abbott Laboratories (an Ensure nutritional drink plant), and Meijer (a hundred million dollar dairy plant) have all also constructed new plants with a hundred or more workers in the past few years in that general area.
