My mom took my youngest brother (10) to that last year--he had a blast. My mom and stepfather are history nerds, and they were entertained as well.

Yeah, I thought there was enough going on that if she didn't like some of the stuff there would still be something we could spend some time on. These are the types of things I wish they advertised more. I just happened to come across it the other day when I searched Dayton on twitter. Otherwise, I would have had no clue about it.

Advertising costs money. People interested will find it without the advertising.

Agree to disagree. You can simply put these on twitter and facebook for free. There are plenty of other ways for the Dayton area to let people know about the things going on. I got lucky to find it and found it late.

I disagree as well. I am interested in it and I had no idea that it was scheduled. If your point was accurate, money would not be spent by anyone on marketing and advertising.
