No. I know people who do close to that just for work. Travel around here is not bad at all. Lot's of people complain, but I doubt they would if they experienced traffic in other places.

As long as you go against traffic at rush hour and find lesser used back roads, you should be fine at even rush hour. Cincinnati is bad only inside the I-275 beltway. Mason-Montgomery Road may also be a problem.

Agreed with the competitive marching band comment. Centerville has a program? I know Beavercreek didn't when I was there, but we are now talking roughly ten years ago. They've changed directors of the program there, though he was the old assistant. From friends that now work there and contacts, I think they've expanded options, but not sure on strings.

Again, agreed on the best info would be found at the OMEA website. Look for good, consistent orchestra rankings. Stivers in Dayton Public Schools in an option. Stebbins had a good program too, though again, my info is now somewhat dated. Stebbins HS is OK, but not as impressive as other large area districts. But if you have a focused child/children, they should do fine there.

Hmm, the Suzuki schools in both cities are inside the beltways (by quite a bit), so that may be problematic on weekdays. I'd totally do it if my son was older, but he's actually still pretty young, so that might be a bit much (I'm just looking ahead on the public school programs, since we're planning to buy a house). I'll look into the OMEA website for sure, thanks.
