I stand corrected.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...erdose-n773936

Probably a better link because it has the year in the dateline. Still NBC.

Either way, whether we are largest or not, it is still a nationwide problem. And not isolated to just here, SW Ohio or Ohio overall.

1. Since all I was trying to do was point out the "age" of the posted report and obviously wasn't trying to provide current statistics, why should I "Google"?

2. Anyone who likes Google is certainly free to use it to their heart's content, but I don't use Google unless it's a matter of life and death (it usually isn't) and there's nothing else (there usually is).

3. Modern equipment is fantastic, but I have found (at least with mine) that the sound is generally lousy and I usually not only leave that turned off, I generally skip over videos beyond any written words attached -- too much trouble trying to figure out what's being said (or played).

Amanda wrote…

“Is this overwhelming lack of perspective/reality a recent result of marketing by the surrounding cities?”

Does one seriously think surrounding cities would spend their marketing money in such a manner?

That’s negativity with an ample supply of paranoia thrown in for good measure.

Not sure why you bumped this thread, but I’m glad you did. It reminds me of the lively discussions (and people who posted here) that used to occur here that no longer do.
