I would only have to take one bus TO work and one bus BACK. I don't mind that part, I just don't want to WAIT for one. I'm being silly about it, my daughter takes the bus all the time....as well as a good number of people we work with. So many here from other countries don't have drivers license.

Oh well, I won't think about it this weekend, I'll think about it Monday.

Another quiet day! My daughter went with my grandson and a friend of hers to go fishing. Not sure where....but there are plenty of lakes and rivers around. I'm glad she likes to go out and do things. It keeps my grandson happy. I like theme parks and such, but I was never a mom who liked to go a whole lot. We stayed home quite a bit.

HAPPY SUNDAY!

Stayed up a little late watching the two seasons of Tudors that I had missed. Interesting stuff. This is what I always think about though, without the aid of running water, toothpaste and flush toilets, I wonder how clean they could possibly be? Nothing romantic about stinky.........

Happy Sunday everyone.

Glory, I'm so glad to hear that season 3 of the Tudors is finally available. I too didn't start watching it until Netflix (I love Netflix) and I finished season 2 a few months ago.

As for transportation issues, I too have those. I am unemployed and my car was repossessed a while ago, which doesn't help in the job search . There are places just a few miles from here that I can't get to because the bus doesn't go there and one called me on Friday to ask for an interview. I really hate not having a car!!!

LOL at crazyworld's not having sex with her Daily's...

And, lcsd, I truly feel for you in having transportation problems. When I didnt have a car (especially in places like Houston, Seattle and Denver) I had the same issues. I was thrilled if it took me only three bus changes (and a couple of hours) to get somewhere. I remember getting frustrated in Seattle once and walking @ 15 miles to get home; it took 4-5 hours and the angels were surely watching over me in some areas of town that day. I hope things start looking up for you soon.

Sorry about the car problems, my friends. It's so frustrating. Daughter just got a flat tire, but I told her she'd have to save up for another one herself...Mommy's just about broke. Told her all about Retreads. ha.

We just ordered Netflix, after Daughter asking for it for forever. Told her we'll do the First Month Free promo & then go from there. But sounds like everyone here likes it, so maybe we'll keep it after all.

Have a great week, everyone! May your mailboxes be full.

Busy schedules this week and next, getting caught up on things that I let slide when recovering....going to the local Social Security office to get what I hope is the last glitch cleared up, routine maintenance on my car, home a/c spring checkup, free home energy audit and applying for a passport (at my ripe old age).

When I was working I used to cram so much activity into my Saturdays and Vacation Days. Now it's so nice to schedule one thing for each day. And I've gotten so lazy that, if I dont get to that one thing, oh well...there's always tomorrow.
