I know, I'm still trying to adjust too. It's getting harder and harder to find...
We would have been famous girl, an act not to be beaten!!!
Yep...all we could do now is put together a Vaudeville act and take the show on the road to all the old folks homes..............or Mr C could drive the camper and we could hang out the windows.........

Your assuming I haven't already? Wonder how would collect the most strings of beads?!
Speaking of clean dogs...Queenie needs to have a bath about once a month or she starts smelling like a dog. When the weather is warm, I just take her out in the backyard and bathe her using the garden hose. But I've been in a quandry about what to do when it's cold. My tub faucets are a strange size and the dog-bath-hose-nozzles dont fit them.
I asked my daughter what she did, since Queenie lived with her last winter. She said that she and Queenie just got in the shower together once a month. OK, so I tried that tonight. OMG. It was her first -- and her last -- shower ever in my house. What a disaster.
I needed another shower after cleaning up the pulled-down shower curtain, drying the slippery-when-wet floors all over the house and dragging poor scared sudsy Queenie back into the shower after she jumped out (that's when the shower curtain and rod came down).
From now on, I'll just have the mobile dog grooming service bathe her in their van in my driveway.
