If I tried that where I live, someone would surely steal most of it.
My goddaughher's grandmother has a large cement goose by her mailbox in San Antonio. She has made all kinds of cute outfits for the goose...one for every holiday and season. People in town just love to drive by and see what the goose is wearing.

Wow...that line would've gotten me lots of free beer in my younger years!

I just finished the May opening in The Village (Community Chat):

Camper already dropped by and showed her 'bloomers'.

Happy Birthday to your girl! She was born during the year of the horse!

Thank you everybody for all the grad wishes! Amazingly, I have lived/survived to write about it!

Unless things change, (unless she gets a job offer making a zillion bucks a year), she is going to continue her education, (grumble, grumble on her part), in CO. (Her dad 'needles' her until she gives in and 'sees the light'......sigh)

I've been up for several hours..(can you believe it????)....already working outside......just in here taking a short break........ I want to try to plant my blackberry plants today......unlike the already (stickery) established raspberry patch, these have NO STICKERS, so I hope they grow.... I've gotten most of the weeds out of the raspberries but new ones come back so soon....we'll see how it goes....... I am learning to take Tylenol BEFORE I go outside!

Oh Gosh...forgot to tell you this!!

My daughter did not take Izzy's Wiener Boys antics at PreK as lightly as I did.
With a serious straight face she told him if he ever did it again and she found out....she would cut it off and dress him like a girl.

I hope she hasn't messed him up for life.

Can You say Norman Bates???

Glory, I have a story for you....

Today was my day to " go to town". Well, I'm exhausted from all my errands and I pull up to the mail box, which sits under some nice shade trees, and just sit for a minute. I have all the windows down and some tunes blasting when I get a text from my daughter. I figure what the heck,.. I'm off the road, love the song thats playing and there is a killer breeze , so I start texting her. Well, when the songs over, I look up to see the mail mans truck nose to nose with my van and he's pissed cuz I'm in his way!!! I started cracking up because he startled me and it's the guy I cant stand. Well, the more I laugh, the more pissed he got. Needless to say, I sat there for a few and just crackeing up, watching him get more and more upset, then got out and got my mail.

I bet my box is empty tomorrow. Your not allowed to block the mail box .
