I had shoulder surgery a few months after my stroke. I had apparently injured my shoulder in the bad fall I took when i had my stroke (that's also the fall that made my last foot-joints-fusion surgery necessary, as well as the upcoming one). I've had problems with my entire upper arm area since the surgery and this elbow mess may be part of that too. All I know is it hurts like heck. I have to keep the elbow bent, at a 45 degree angle, against my abdomen.
Camper, I had cortisone cocktail shots in my knee a few years ago -- and, although I got immediate relief both times, I'd hate to think about getting those shots in the elbow.
Try this one on for size... We're talking about them in the butt cheeks for the fibro!!!!
I wouldnt mind them in the butt area because it's well-padded.
I dont mind shots at all. I always watch when the nurse draws blood and gives me shots. But the knee shots were really bad -- that was the closest I've ever come to hitting anyone. And I think elbow shots would be bad too.
Arghhh...I've been on hold with the Walgreen's pharmacy for 55 minutes. I guess I'll hang up and try again later. Going back to bed. nice visiting with you.

Car is fixed....as far as we can tell. My daughter brought the mail in, it's raining like crazy, and is now going to take Izzy for a haircut and new summer tennis shoes.
We have to keep his hair short because he has double cowlicks and looks quite silly when his hair gets too long.

Hubby has a cow lick and he gave it to our daughter.

Must be really hard for a girl!! It makes it so hard to do anything with the front part of your head. It's not like you can mash it down and spray it. The hair just DEFIES GRAVITY.
Does she have bangs, keeps it super short or what?
I'm so glad this week is over and my car is running well. I didn't plan on it financially, but at least I had the money to pay for it and now it's done. For those of you who know anything about cars, they had to replace the 'cam shaft sensor' and clean out the fuel lines. The oil leak I had made a mess of everything.
Then I got to work only to fine they made all these changes ....moving us and rearranging supervisors. I don't disagree with anyone they got rid of, but having to get used to a whole new setup is a young person's game. It takes me awhile to get comfortable with a different environment. Now I'll have all weekend to think about it and get used to it before Monday.
I'm watching HGTV about this guy who put a big old pool in the middle of the mansion living room. I think if I were rich, I could find a better way to spend my money.
