Good Morning everyone

GB I love BJ's and that is usually where I do the majority of my shopping BUT I also have a lot of mouths to feed here so it works out for me. I have been a member for 18 months and I have watched the prices on the stuff I normally buy go up and up and up some more. FOr example is coffee ~ we buy the 3lb can of Chock Full of Nuts and 18 months ago it was 8.32 and now well over 12.00. Paper towels have cost us three dollars more . I do love BJ's but it does add up after a while yet it is still cheaper for me than the supermarket. When they have a jump on their prices though, they don't jump they leap big time. I am starting to see less and less people shop there.
It is a great place to stock up especially on Tylenol etc...good deals there and you get triple the amount for less money you would pay at the drugstore or even Wally World..Lever2000 soap is 16 bars for 4.99 which is a great deal

Thanks CW! We aren't generally 'bulk' shoppers because we don't have enough money to blow half the grocery budget on 54 cans of corn (), but we thought since we had the free 30 day pass, it was worth checking out. We would be more prone to buy meat or frozen type items.

This may end up on the news or it may not.

I won't say the name of the main company I work for since most of you know it....but they got hacked BIG TIME last night.
Entire newspaper operations from coast to coast were in a major meltdown this morning. I hate to laugh....but .....

I wonder who they pi$$ed off or offended THIS week.

I was told on the phone to call before coming in this afternoon since most of the computer systems are still down.

This does make you quite the grocery genius.

Actually, I'm impressed. I rarely get our groceries since my daughter is in charge of the cooking, so I don't know beans about what stuff costs.

So do you still get paid if you have to take time off?

That would be sweet!

Only if you have vacation hours, which I only have a couple left. They could care less about the employees, if nothing else they will tell us to make the hours up over the weekend. They used to be a super company to work for....but the Chicago influence has muddied up the lovely southern waters. Oh well, it is what it is. At least I have a job.

Geez, that sounds crazy. I hope you have a good day off, though!

Went to Dr today and he's gonna give me that Taloxifin (sp?) that we were talking about a few days ago. Also increasing my Gabapentin & then probably gonna do the injections. *sigh*
