Yesterday I got in the mail what I thought was free Aquaphor Healing Ointment. It came under the alias I use for free stuff.
But also inside is an invoice for $6.04... $4.05 for the 1.75 oz, and $1.99 for s/h. What's up with that? Anyone else have this problem?
Do I have to return it? If I do, they're paying return s/h!
It's only vaseline in a tube, and I have that already. sheesh. Stupid liars.
I'd pay the return postage and send it back with a note explaining I will not be purchasing any of their products due to their attempting to charge for what was supposed to be a free sample.
I'd write, on the invoice, that you didnt agree to pay for anything. (Be sure to keep a copy for your records.) For that amount, I doubt they're going to come after you.
As long as you didn't give them a credit card number, you don't have to worry about it. But if they want money, I'd send it back, because that's not a freebie.
The free link goes back to VocalPoint which is an excellent company with a great reputation. The offer is over, https://www.viewpoints.com/sampling/...MFG---Aquaphor, but I would log into the main VocalPoint site. They have their email posted...as well as having a forum type response for various products they offer. Post or email your situation.
I've never ran into this problem. I would think it is a big mistake.
