I am very surprised this is not a sticky thread, discussing how much money did you save using coupons this week at various stores. I guess I will begin.
Saved $42.35 at Kroger this past Sunday. What say you?
Today at Kroger we saved $84 using coupons! It was a good day. Tons of BOGO's plus they were on sale. We won't be needing shampoo, body wash, deodorant, etc until next summer!
*applause* Great job! I'm stocked up on that stuff too.
For me, @Winn-Dixie, using both store & manufacture's coupons: Saved $16.35, a 28% savings. Not as impressive as you, but I did rec'v 2 bottles of body wash for free@$3.99 each. And W-D now has the Fuelperks promo, so I'll save .15 a gallon next time I get gas. It's not much, only about $2.25 in savings, but in this case it's the psychological advantage that matters.
P.S. I got Daughter to show me how to calculate % savings and then pasted it to the desk so I won't have to ask her how to do it every time. It's
amount saved divided by what the total would have been w/out the savings/coupons.

Cool! We only got so much so we could stock up. That amount may not be reached again for another 6-12 months. I was completely frazzled by the time we left the store. It can be overwhelming, but you have to keep your poise in the Coupon Olympics.

Yes, it can be,that's for sure. When I got home today, I was worn out. Daughter made supper so I could rest! She's a good kid. But it's a great feeling....I always feel like shouting, "I WIN!"
BTW, I get sick of cashiers that look at you like you just took their kidney because you have a stack of coupons. It doesn't come out of their paycheck for crying out loud!

Happily, I haven't had that reaction. They say things like, "Wow, you have a lot of coupons," but they say it in a friendly way. I have to smile when they say that when I only have 10 or so. What's fun is when the ppl behind me notice I have coupons and start to watch the price go down. Then they say stuff like, "Wow, that's great!"
Yesterday when I left Publix, I said, "What, no coupons?" I meant that I hadn't received a catalina. The cashier pulled out a flyer I hadn't seen before and handed it to me. I said Thanks as I walked away, and then heard,"Here's another." So I started walking back, and he said, "And another!" So I got 3 different flyers with coupons, just for asking. Yay!
