I use free AVG now, but I did use Norton for years while I had free access to it through a friend.
It worked well for me when there were so many virus' on the internet. There seems to be less of that
particular thread these days. For a couple of years, it was just an awful thing you had to worry about
every time you clicked a site.

This is a good deal, Bob! I used to have Norton but now use Kaspersky. I thought about trying AVG, like Glory, but didnt know how reliable it would be for someone who surfs the net a lot.

I didnt have any security when I got my first computer in 1996. I used that computer for five years without any protection at all. Gosh, those were the good ole days. Personally, I think hackers are concentrating more on spyware/stealing your info nowadays than on viruses.
