Thanks, Mayvenne. I'm not up to talking about her yet except to say that I adopted her almost 5 years ago when she was about 8 years old and had obviously lived a hard life prior to being rescued.
I have most of mine changed. 9 clocks downstairs alone!! Yes, I have a thing for clocks... I have some that light up and many that chime. my mom's bird clock and even a train clock!! I love my house at noon but omg, changing them!!! it's only twice a year so I don't mind. I get so much joy form hearing them. I like to keep the house quiet so I can hear them. It's like living in a clock shop.
Had no choice but to put the Christmas tree up already. I have a hard and fast rule, no Christmas until after Thanksgiving. That went right out the window this year. We have so many irons in the fire right now this was our only chance. It's been an adventure already with Charlotte ( who is around 3 pounds now)!! We put it up Saturday and she has already peed under it three times and chewed one of the branches!! Yes we do watch her every minute but you blink and there she goes. She has been doing great on her potty training but I guess a tree is a tree to her.
Solved that problem by putting one of the wire pet fences we take camping around the tree!! It will have to come down while we decorate it but then it goes right back up till the tree comes down New Years day.
Merry Christmas Eve to everyone. I know I'm going to get busy tomorrow and forget to post and didn't want to go without saying it.
It's actually going to be cold here in San Antonio!! No snow, but cold is good.
Hope each and everyone of you have a happy 2021.
