Anyone have a starbucks rewards card? Question about redeeming a code

HI all,
I recently signed up for a Starbucks rewards account earlier this month. Today, I logged into my account saw a "Special Offer Just for You" code for a free drink that expires on Dec 28. How do I redeem this? Do I just tell the code to the barista? I have 3 cards linked to my account, but only one has a balance. Is a specific card tied to the code?

No specific card is tied to the code. You can swipe any of them and use it. You can write the code number down and show it to the barista, or just pull it up on your phone to show him/her.
