Thanks for the advice, MP1.

Several months ago I "mis-clicked" (either with my computer or connected Kindle, I forget) and ended up downloading a book I didn't want. It's almost too easy to buy these things on Amazon. LOL. Rather than contact Amazon and attempt to correct my mistake, I kept the book. The cost was only around $8/$9.

The book was The Help... and it was absolutely worth the price. Anyone who hasn't read it, should. It brings forth many emotions -- laughter, tears, victorious moments, tension, bravery, love, hate.

I'm presently on 12 Years a Slave (found on your list). So far it's quite good.

My only regret in life is that I never learned to speed read.

Not to worry. Stick around long enough and a speed reading book will be listed among the freebies.

Java, I have found some good books from mainstream publishers via KindleUnlimited but it's true there are plenty of free ones to read! Glad you were able to download CyberStorm. If you read it, please let me know how it was.
