I got 10 ice cream bars that would have been $9.99. More than I would pay but man, it's killer ice cream. I was careful NOT to read the calories and fat. I told my self, it was free food, must be caloreie free!!

From what I was reading on their brochure and their website, their ice cream is higher quality because its first ingredient is cream, not milk. I almost got something from the dessert section but I have been trying to keep down my weight and have been loosing weight slowly but surely.

I think however I am going to have to order some of the chocolate chip muffins they have. They come in frozen pucks and you bake up as many or as few as you want. Sounds pretty convenient to me.

In hind sight.....I wish I would have tried at least ONE of their deserts. It is their ice cream that got them famous in the first place.

I wasn't aware of that. It makes sense though. It sounds like wonderful stuff.

Still can't complain :-)
The meatballs were one (of many) that I was looking at. Were they good?

They were ... OK.

I taste tested them with my local store-brand meatballs I happened to have in the freezer. (Don't give me a hard time - I usually make my own, but it's too hot )

The Schwan's were smaller and not as Italian-spicy as I like.

I worked at a printing place that printed those brochures you get from Schwans.

It sure made a person hungry looking at those sheets of brochures night after night.

They were a very good account for our plant and a valued account.

Given my general dislike for grocery shopping, if I had more money, I would probably order alot of food from them, letting me cutdown on how much I had to enter the grocery store.
