I don't use glasses all that much. I use insulated mugs. Maybe this will help the flatware. It seems to always come out of the dishwasher with streaks.
Any " citr" type stuff will do wonders. My silverware was almost white from the build up. One round of this in the dishwasher and it was like new again.

The brand I have right now is LemI Shine ( lemishine.com). get it at walmart . It's a round container, 15oz, yellow with a green lid. Worth every penny.
